Funeral services for Daniel Todd “Danny” Sisk, age 59, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Howell Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with Bro. Todd Gaskill officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service on Tuesday at the church.
Danny was born on August 20, 1965, in Lincoln County, TN, to the late Robbie Lee Sisk and Emily Lou West Sisk. A 1983 graduate of Lincoln County High School, he was a proud member of the 1982 Championship Football Team. Danny remained a lifelong resident of the area and a dedicated member of Howell Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served as church elder, a Sunday school teacher, and song leader at the church.
A hardworking and skilled man, Danny owned and operated S&S Lawncare alongside his son, Hunter, and also worked as a parts associate with H&R Agri-Power in Fayetteville. Known for his mechanical talents, he could fix nearly anything with his hands and found great joy in tinkering with old lawn mowers and trucks, as well as attending truck and tractor pulls. He was also a member of the Fayetteville Elks Lodge 179.
Above all, Danny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He cherished his role as “Pops” to his beloved grandchildren, and his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Danny passed away on April 12, 2025.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Marie Barnes Sisk; sons, Brandon (Alyssa) Sisk and Hunter (Liz) Sisk; grandchildren, Leyla Gray Sisk, Miller Sisk, Navy Sisk, Myla Sisk, Hyde Sisk, and Hazie Beth Sisk; brother, Michael Lee Sisk; and his mother-in-law, Agnes Marie Barnes. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Wayne Lloyd Barnes.
Brandon Sisk, Hunter Sisk, Tim Barnes, Chuck Barnes, Paul Barnes, Jon Parks, Fred Huffman, and Jeremy Shelton will serve as pallbearers.
Danny will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
