I am so sorry! She was a great lady and a great boss! She was always very sweet to me! I loved her and Dean so much! Sorry I didn’t get to the funeral home! Praying for you all! I know how hard it is to lose a parent! Much love to everyone! ❤️
Just saw Mrs Jeanne less than 2 weeks ago as Pam had brought her into Sissy’s Antiques. Pam was always so good to bring her in from time to time. I will always remember her and her sister Mrs Dean being together throughout the years. Such beautiful and loving ladies that graced our town. Prayers for all of the family. It’s so hard to lose a Mom and a friend..
Jeanne came into our family when I was a child so she seems more like a sister than a sister-in-law. Always dependable, loving, fair and her love for my brother was amazing. She said when she first saw him she told her friends, “I’m going to marry that guy,” then she’d say, “and I did.” They were a loving couple and were always there when needed.
My parents and family were blessed to have had her in our lives! RIP, big sister!
Benny, so sorry for your loss. We met your parents at Harmony Hill Church of God. She helped my mom get a job at Serbin. Such a sweet couple. We shall pray for you all. Their Christian light showed thru!
So sorry for your loss. Jeanne was a special lady. I met her through my aunt Opal Mills.
Sister Jeanne was the most loved and most loving, Godly, precious Lady I have ever known. I loved her dearly and will miss her forever as will the whole congregation of the Fayetteville Church of God. I’m happy for Sister Jeanne as I know she was welcomed by our Lord Jesus and the whole host of heaven! I’m praying Peace on her family and friends.
My grandmother was incredibly kind and unfailingly faithful. Her quiet strength was evident to everyone who knew her. She called me her “only-est granddaughter” even into my adulthood. She signed all of my birthday cards with “Love you bunches! More than you’ll ever know.” She loved us well and we will miss her so much. Knowing she is with “her sweetheart” again brings us comfort. I cherish the memories I have with her: Spending weekends at her house and asking her to tell me stories of when she was little, going to Gerald’s and buying all the candy I could eat, Christmas Eve sleepovers, so many delicious meals. I am proud to be her granddaughter and I smile any time I’m called “bullheaded” because she was known to be a little stubborn and fiercely independent, too. We would laugh about having that in common. If I had my way, she would still be here but I know she is exactly where she wants to be: in heaven with her loved ones and her savior, and that brings me comfort and joy.
I have such fond memories of working with Jean back when I first started working. She was so sweet to me, and I learned a lot from her. My sincere sympathy to her family.
Sister Jean was a precious and dear friend. Sister Jean always was a sweet Godly person, and she would let her love for everyone glow. The Lord took an angel home!
