M.L. (Mr. Quick to me) was the father of my childhood best friend and next-door neighbor, Darryl. Mr. Quick lived a simple life and came off to most people as a simple, good ol’ country boy. He probably was that but he was much, much more. Mr. Quick was one of the smartest, wittiest, and least pretentious people I have ever known. Skinem, Tennessee is decades behind me now, but my memories of Mr. Quick remain near. I always thought highly of the entire Quick family and send my condolences for their loss. I’m very sorry that M.L. Is gone but will be forever grateful for his positive influence and for showing me what it means to be a truly nice guy.
Linda,
May God’s grace and comfort sustain you as you mourn your husband’s passing and celebrate his new life.
