Mr. Sherman Roy Wiggin II passed from this Life to Glory at the age of 59, on January 25, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 10 am at Fayetteville First Baptist Church, 210 Elk Avenue North, Fayetteville, Tennessee. Burial will follow at Stewart Cemetery on Buggar Hollow Road. All are welcome!

Mr. Wiggin was born on August 28, 1961 in Kleberg County, Kingsville, Texas. He was born to Sylvia Joan Wiggin and the late Sherman Roy Wiggin. He did a career in the United States Air Force from 1985-2005. He then worked for DIA specifically MISC at Redstone Arsenal where he was a Rocket Scientist, Aerospace Intelligence Officer for 14 years. It was never important to Mr. Wiggin to tell others what church he went. However, what God had saved him and changed his life! He was a missionary in every sense of the word. He left a trail of Jesus from the East coast to the West coast and back again.

Survivors include his wife Laura of 37 years. Three sons: Samuel Wiggin (wife Laura) of Ripley TN, Joshua Wiggin of Waianae HI, Zechariah Wiggin (wife Taylor) of Fayetteville TN. His mother, Sylvia Joan Wiggin of Horn Lake MS, his sister Angie Obrien Wiggin of Horn Lake MS. He is preceded in death by his father Sherman Roy Wiggin. Mother-in-law Rebecca Mayhugh and Father-in-law Dennis Mayhugh. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sister and brother in laws.

He spent his life aspiring to be like Jesus every day.

He spent his life being the best husband a wife could ask for.

He spent his life doing the dad thing loving his boys with every fiber of his being.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959, Molino Road Baptist Church, 704 Molino Road, Taft, TN 38488, or a Military Aid Program of your choice.
