Zella B. McBay

Funeral service for Mrs. Zella B. McBay, age 79, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 4 PM on Friday, March 22, 2019, at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Thompson officiating. Burial will follow beside her husband, George McBay, in Campbell Cemetery.

Mrs. McBay was born February 6, 1940 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Robert Charles and Hattie Davis Locker. Mrs. McBay enjoyed taking care of her family and was a wonderful homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Brenda Douglas (Glen) of Fayetteville, TN, Danny Ray McBay (Myra) of Elkton, TN, George David McBay (Stephanie) of Winchester, TN, Jimmy McBay (Kay) of Grant, AL, Ronnie McBay (Monica Allen) Fayetteville, TN and Donnie Wayne McBay of Huntland, TN; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Harold David Locker; and sisters, Helen Sanders, Jennie Marie Thompson, Rita Faye Bryant and Joann Jet.

Visitation with the family will be held at Higgins Funeral Home from 2 PM until time of service at 4 PM on Friday, March 22, 2019. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Zella B. McBay.

I remember my younger sister picking flowers as a little girl. She loved flowers and would look every where until she picked all the different colored flowers. I extend my sincere condolences to my surviving brother and sisters and to Zella B’s family.
