Wilma Cunningham

Funeral services for Wilma Cunningham, age 88 of Tullahoma formerly of Fayetteville, will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens beside her husband George Daniel Cunningham Jr. who passed away in 1992.

Mrs. Cunningham passed away Monday evening in Tullahoma Life Care Center. A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Cunningham was the daughter of the late Willie Massey and Josephine Pickett Cunningham. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Estill Springs Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter Edna Reeves of Tullahoma, TN, one sister Rebecca Raby of Fayetteville, three grandchildren Sara Danielle Reeves of Tullahoma, TN, Hannah Hammond of Houston, TX and Andrew David Reeves of Tullahoma, TN. and one great-granddaughter Scout Hohenberger of Houston, TX.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Marie Hammond and two sisters Wanda Smith and Edna Blasingame.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

Dear Becky and Joe, or hearts are saddened to learn of the death of your dear sister. The family will be in our thoughjts and prayers for sometime to come, we know that she will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Aunt Wilma was my HERO. She helped my Mother bring me into this world, She delivered me. She taught me a lot of wonderful things. Love and honesty. Teaching me that working hard pays off. Be true to yourself, love others, take care of each other I could go on and on Main thing is Love. Love yourself and others I will miss her for always But I carry her with me in my heart.

I’ve just now heard about your mom. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful friend to my mother, Dorothy Dickey, and a really sweet lady. I know you miss her.
