Willie Clayton Holder

Funeral service for Willie Clayton Holder, age 91, of Flintville, TN, will be conducted Friday, May 19, 2017 at 2 P.M. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Don Pierson officiating. Burial to follow at Mulberry Cemetery. Mr. Holder passed away May 17, 2017 at Donalson Care Center.

Mr. Holder was a member of Stewart’s Chapel Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army during WWII and later worked as a welder for Martin Industries in Huntsville.

Survivors include his daughters Evelyn (Larry) Simmons of Flintville, TN, Juanita (Lynn) Timbs of Murfreesboro, TN, Paula (Mickey) Baker of Flintville, TN, and Donna (Barry) Sanders of Tullahoma, TN; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild: 1 step-great-great-grandchild; sisters Jewel Patterson of Fayetteville, TN and Flora Halcomb of Birmingham, AL; and brother Grady Holder. He is preceded is death by his wife Frances Lorinda Holder; parents Annie Mae and Willie Mack Holder; sisters Ruby and Mary Holder; and brothers Orville and Layman Holder.

Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 5 until 8 P.M. at Higgins Funeral Home.
