Memorial service for Mr. William “Bill” Rutledge Taylor, Sr. will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 23, 2018, at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Harold Dawkins officiating.
Mr. Taylor was born in Fayetteville, TN and died at home on Monday, March 19, 2018, having enjoyed nearly 94 years of God’s wonders. First a farmer, Bill then spent 30 years working for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member, deacon, and elder of the First Presbyterian Church. Bill is missed by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous friends.
Visitation with the family will be held at 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church at PO Box 472, Fayetteville, TN 37334.

Bill and Family,
I am very sad to read of your Dad’s passing. (Our dads worked for many years at the post office.)

Bill and Becky’s children, I am sorry for the loss of your Daddy. I have known them since I can remember. I do not get out much and had not seen Bill for some time. He worked at the P.O. with my son in law Paul Caldwell.
