Funeral services for Mr. William Lee Roland, age 72, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 11am Saturday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Stewarts Cemetery beside his wife Shirley Ann Roland. Mr. Roland passed away Wednesday March 24th at Lincoln Medical Center.
He was a native of Lincoln County and was the son of Russell and Elvator Swinford Roland. Mr. Roland was a self employed plumber & electrician and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters Connie Jean Roland, Angela Largura, and Denise Cowan all of Fayetteville, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four sisters, Irene Hunter, Mary Jane Roland, Marie Reese all of Fayetteville and Joann Mewburn of Lynchburg, and four brothers John, Roy, Billy and Ray Roland all of Fayetteville.
Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
