Wanda Lee Lineberger

Graveside funeral service for Mrs. Wanda Lee Lineberger, age 83, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted at 2 PM on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Shiloh Cemetery with Bro. Steven Carter officiating. Visitation with the family will be held at 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM on Sunday at Higgins Funeral Home.

Wanda was born on March 13, 1936 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Charles and Ruth Coble Foster. She worked as a cashier for Walmart. Wanda enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and sewing. Mrs. Lineberger passed away on February 14, 2020 at Lincoln Medical Center.

Survivors include her son, Teddy Joe Lineberger of Coldwater, TN; grandson, Donald Lineberger (Stacie Vance) of Shelbyville, TN; great-granddaughter, Dejah Leigh Lineberger; special friends, Pam Mason and Patty Clark of Fayetteville, TN; sister-in-law, Annie Lou Rogers; and niece, Amanda Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lee Lineberger, and infant son, Anthony Lee Lineberger.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shiloh Cemetery Fund, C/O Sloan Smith, 1083 Old Elkton Pike, Fayetteville, TN 37334.

I am so sorry to hear of Wanda Lee’s passing. She and my daddy, Doug Mitchell, had lots of fun and lots of laughs together.

Oh, Wanda…I’ll miss you…we had such fun at the old Wal-mart! You were a special friend & I missed seeing you in the garden center…we always had great times….loved you!

I am so sorry for your loss.l remember the days as kids living in her neighborhood and working at Wal-Mart with her. Lots of memories.

Chester and I loved Wanda. She and Chester had a great time at Walmart. She was so nice and friendly.

So sorry to hear about Wanda. We all grew in the Dellrose community. Her last husband Joe and my brother Joe Hall used to run together. I didn’t know about her death or I would have been there. So very sorry. She will surely be missed.
