Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Pendergrass Honea, age 80 of Flintville, TN, will be conducted Tuesday at 2 PM in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Basham and Rev. Billy Langford officiating. Burial will be in Flintville Cemetery beside her husband of 60 years Mr. James Honea.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late John Wiley and Wincie Ennis Pendergrass. She worked for many years for the Lincoln County School Sysstem and attended the Flintville Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters Nancy (Mike) Hopson of Fayetteville and Beverly (Ken) Gullatt of Flintville, three grandsons Tommy Hopson of Fayetteville, Will Harbin of Flintville, and Kevin Honea of Flintville, four great-grandchildren and one brother Harvie Pendergrass of Clarksville, TN. She was preceded in death by a son Aaron Honea, five brothers Ernest, L.T., Jay Hugh, Vollie, and Grady Pendergrass, three sisters Violet Ridgeway, Johnny Cowan, and Grace Bradford.
Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 PM Monday at Higgins Funeral Home.
