Funeral services for Mrs. Viola “Tot” Pitts, age 85, of Fayetteville, will be conducted at 2 PM Tuesday afternoon at the Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens beside her late husband James Floyd Pitts. Mrs. Pitts passed away Saturday morning at the Lincoln Skilled Care Center.
Mrs. Pitts was a native of Lincoln County and was the daughter of the late Alva and Maye Cantrell Flynt. She was a retired Beautician and was a member of the Northside Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter: Janie Pitts Mullins Mitchell and husband Wesley of Taft, one son: Mike Pitts and wife Teri of Flintville, two brothers: Jim and Don Flynt both of Fayetteville, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Mrs. Pitts was preceded in death by her grandson Brad Mullins.
Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5-8 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home.
