Funeral service for Mr. Tony Ray Sims, age 49, of Fayetteville, will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Jon Hathcock officiating. Burial will follow in Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens. Mr. Sims was born on September 25, 1967 in Fayetteville, Tennessee to James Ray (Nancy) Sims and Diane Wilkens. He worked for Copperweld and was a member of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, April Wanette Sims; sons, Timothy Ryan (Sam) Sims and Joseph Wayne Sims; grandson, Wesley Sims all of Fayetteville; and siblings Ken and DeAnna.
Visitation with the family will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Tony Ray Sims.

Wayne, Sheila, April, and sons. I am so sorry to hear about the death of Tony. While I didn’t know Tony, I have heard so many wonderful things about him. I also know what a wonderful young man Jo-Jo is from being in the gym during the same block as him last year. You all have been in my prayers and will continue to be.
