Tom (Tommy) Alvin Phelps

Mr. Tom (Tommy) Alvin Phelps was born June 12th 1950, to the late Mr. Ben Nathan Phelps and Mrs. Annie John Wright-Phelps. Tommy departed this life on September 12, 2017. He was born and raised in Lincoln County, Tennessee. He worked at Amana, now known as Daikin, for almost 50 years. He is preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Faye Jean Hairston-Phelps of Fayetteville; two daughters, Tomyca Phelps and Mia Barnes, and one grand-daughter, Blaze Barnes. He leaves three sisters Una Mae Syler, Emma (William) Dangerfield, and Edna Phelps all of Fayetteville; and a host of other relatives, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation with the family will be held Friday, September 15, 2017, at 5 PM until 8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Tom Phelps.

I am so sorry to hear about Tommy , I worked with him for 44 years at amana,goodman,diakin hw was a very nice person

I’m sorry for your loss. It’s a hard time for everyone. The scriptures can bring comfort. At revelation 21:4 it’s says “And death will be no more.” God will do away with death forever. And we will see are loved ones again. I hope that brings you comfort.
