Tom Allen Ables

Graveside service for Mr. Tom Allen Ables, age 83, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted Sunday, July 2, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Lincoln Cemetery with Bro. Don Wallace and Bro. Ronnie Thomas officiating. Mr. Ables passed away June 29, 2017 at Lincoln Medical Center.

Tom was the son of the late Tom and Lucy Fanning Ables and was born on May 23, 1934 in Lincoln County, TN. He was a member of the West Fayetteville Church of Christ. Tom was a truck driver and owner of Ables’ Green Houses.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Wilma Fuller Ables; sons, Donnie (Cindy) and Tommy (Margie) Ables of Fayetteville, TN; brothers, Jerry Ables of Fayetteville, TN and Doug (Joanne) Ables of Stow, OH; sisters, Shirley Peay of Michigan and Frances Stewart of Winchester, TN; and granddaughter, Amelia LeAnne Ables. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Mary Ellen Beddingfield and infant son, John Allen Ables.

Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, July 2, 2017, at 12 PM until 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
