Todd Leeth Lineberger

Funeral service for Mr. Todd Leeth Lineberger, age 58, of Nashville, TN, will be conducted at 1 PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at Higgins Funeral home with Pastor Jay Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Wright’s Cemetery.

Todd was born on June 16, 1961 in Oklahoma to the late Joe Moore and Marvelyn Bevels Lineberger.Music was his first love. He worked as a drummer and toured nationally with major country music artists. He was a drum teacher at Hendersonville School of Fine Arts. He attended Tennessee Tech and UT Knoxville and was a member of Life Community Church in Nolensville, TN. Mr. Lineberger passed away on December 5, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Jan Ellen Mullins Lineberger; brother, Michael (Cynthia) Lineberger of Elizabethtown, KY; nephews, Colin and Conor Lineberger; niece, Kaitlyn; sisters-in-law, Joan (late Chris) Mashburn, Sara Mashburn, Judy (Troy) Pearson, and Daniel Pearson all of Fayetteville, TN; and mother-in-law, Evelyn Jeanette Mullins (late Charles Mullins).

Visitation with the family will be held at 5 PM until 8 PM on Monday, December 9, 2019, and Tuesday at 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Musicians On Call, 110 West 40th Street, Suite 702, New York, NY 10018, National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016, or American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Todd Leeth Lineberger.

So sorry to hear about Todd. I regret that I never had the opportunity to really know him personally. He reached out to me at the death of both my parents and that really meant a lot to me. I know that he was a good man who will be truly missed. I apologize for not making it to his service.

I am so so very sorry to hear about this. I am also sorry I couldn’t make it to the service. He played drums in my nephew’s band from Dellrose , Bobby Hall and family. He was the best.
