Visitation for Mrs. Sue Jo Branson, age 88, of Fayetteville, will be 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Higgins Funeral Home. No services will be held. Mrs. Branson passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at her daughter’s residence.
Mrs. Branson was a native of Memphis, TN, the daughter of the late Joe Elmer and Margaret Louise Todd McMain. She was a secretary for the U.S. Navy Commissary and enjoyed painting and was a master gardener. Mrs. Branson was also a foster grandparent with the CDC and at Ralph Askins School.
Survivors include her daughters Margaret (Curtis) Carlisle of Fayetteville, Diann Burgess of Mulberry, Lynn (Gary) Priest of Kelso, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Forrest Lester Branson and 2 grandsons.
