Sue Helen Campbell Williams

It is with regret that we announce the passing of Ms. Sue Helen Campbell Williams, age 73, of Fayetteville, TN. No services are planned at this time. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Ms. Williams.

Sue was born on October 30, 1945 in Harvey, IL to the late Gordon and Louise Campbell. She worked for the Tennessee State of Human Services for 30 years and was a member of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Ms. Williams passed away on July 23, 2019.

Survivors include her son. Stephen (Tina) Williams of Fayetteville, TN; sister, Sybil (Frank) Baker of Fayetteville, TN; brother, Ed (Vera) Campbell of McBurg, TN; granddaughter, Brittany (Matthew) Key of Fayetteville, TN; and great-grandson, Kylar Key of Fayetteville, TN.

Sybil, Ed and family, I am so sorry to hear of Sue’s passing. We were friends beginning when we both lived on Vanntown Road.

Sue Williams was the best friend I ever had in my life. I knew I could tell her anything, and I did. We were friends from the first day we met. I loved her very much and will miss her for the rest of my life.
