To all of Steve’s family, we are sorry for your loss. What a fighter Steve has been for so long. Our classmates always enjoyed Steve coming to our reunions and get- togethers when his health would allow.

You will be in our thoughts during this time.

Sincerely, Brenda

To my Dear Craig Family,

I am sending my heartful prayers to you all. Steve was my dear friend and I will always have my great memories of all our fun from fishing in Mike Hyde’s pond, Gay Teen Dances and the many other dances we went to together as a couple so we would save a dollar at the door. He has always had a special place in my heart. I could go on and on with so many good times in our ealier years but for now I know you and I have a red headed angel watching over us all.

With Love,
Dianne

We had some good times together. He helped me with the old Ambush Band and then one day married my sister. He had a very good heart and did a lot for people around him. He will be missed by all who knew him. Thanks to Steve for his military service to this country.

Dear Craig Family,
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Steve. Our families have been associated for so many years and Hattie and Bobby loved all of you as we do. Please know that we are thinking of you all.

My friend, Steve-A-Reno. When you went through 12 grades of school with a person, you got to know nicknames, and that was Steve’s. He was always a great friend and was the same with everyone. He knew no favorites. Rest in Peace, my friend. We will all miss you terribly.

Sending my deepest sympathy to the Craig family in the loss of Steve. In the late 60’s and early 70’s I got acquainted with Steve on our rings around the Dairy Queen and Hyde Out. (couldn’t afford that today with the high cost of fuel!). Steve gave his all for our country and we are all indebted to him for this feat. May God be with you as you say goodbye to a wonderful brother and a friend to so many. Love, Rexine
