Oh how I will miss seeing Irene out and about. There was a time when she and Shorty visited us almost every Sunday. She was one of the kindest women I’ve ever known. My heart hurts for the family but no more than it hurt for the pain and suffering such a wonderful lady had to endure. Rest In Peace sweet Irene.

Shorty, Tammy and Family,
I was so devastated to hear of Mrs. Hunter’s passing. From reading other tributes it seems she may have been sick for a while. Living in GA I don’t always hear of these things. She was a wonderful lady as you all already know. I still tell everyone about her T-cakes she would bring me on Christmas Eve at the bank, they were the BEST! The world has lost a truly amazing lady! Please know you are all in my prayers!
