Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Lucille Durham Wicks, age 93 of Flintville will be conducted at 10 AM Saturday April 19, 2008 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Langford officiating. Burial will follow in Flintville Cemetery beside her husband J.W. “Buster” Wicks. Mrs. Wicks died Thursday morning at Donaldson Care Center.
A native of Lincoln County, she was a daughter of Arthur and Ola Luttrell Durham, a homemaker, and a member of Flintville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter Fredna Moorehead and husband Roy of Flintville, sons Butch Wicks and wife Cheryl of Flintville and Delbert Wicks and wife Billie Faye of Flintville, grandchildren Greg, Duane, and Waylon Wicks all of Flintville, and Kandi Wright of Huntsville, six great-grandchildren, and sister Kate Hall of Shelbyville. She is preceded in death by sister Ruth Boyd and brothers Howard, Reese, and Tom Durham.
Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 PM Friday April 18, 2008
at Higgins Funeral Home.
