Graveside services for Ruth Foster, age 97 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Cemetery with Rev. Ron Arrick and Lamont Carter officiating. Burial will be beside her husband Charles Foster. Mrs. Foster passed away Sunday at her daughter’s residence.
A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Foster was the daughter of the late Elsie and Minnie Harrison Coble. She was an inspector for Serbin Fashions and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Wanda Lineberger of Fayetteville, grandson Teddy Lineberger of Fayetteville, great-grandson Donald Lineberger and Stacie Vance of Shelbyville, great-great-grand-daughter Dejah Leigh Lineberger of Shelbyville, adopted granddaughter Stephanie Haston of Mulberry and a niece Geraldine Slayton of the Coldwater Community.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until at 1 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shiloh Cemetery.
Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family of Mrs. Ruth Foster.
