There has never been a sweeter, more loving person in this world than Ruby Winsett Tipps. We grew up together outside Skinem. Only a cotton field separated the Winsetts and the McAlisters. We went to school together and we went to church together. Ruby was always looking for an answer to a question she experienced in this life. Due to open-heart surgery a few weeks ago, I am unable to attend the funeral and fulfill the request she had made.

Aunt Ruby was a wonderful Aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Even though my father Kenneth died at a young age she still kept up with our family and answered any questions we may have had.
I will miss her sweet smile and happy eyes. She was a beautiful person inside and out.

A dear friend and classmate. We rode the school bus from Skinem to Central High School. So sorry to hear the news of her passing.
