Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Dickey Knies, age 100, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 11AM Saturday at Higgins Funeral Home with Father George officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester beside her husband Wilford Knies. Mrs. Knies passed away Wednesday evening at her residence.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late John Marshall Davis and Myrtle Ann Franklin Dickey, was a bookkeeper with Huntsville Utilities, and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church
Survivors include her daughter Charlotte Gail Angulo of Fayetteville, grandchildren Kim Bean of Melbourne, FL, Shannon Allish and Jim Douglas both of Winchester, Jeffery Douglas of Miami, Florida, and Karla Bissonnette of Palm Bay, Florida, and sister Miss Era Dickey of Fayetteville, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Knies was preceded in death by a daughter Sue Douglas.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 9am-11AM at Higgins Funeral Home.
