Ronald Richard Hummel

Graveside service for Mr. Ronald Richard Hummel, age 86, of Fayetteville, TN will be held at 2pm on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens with Bro. Jimmy Marr officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service.

Mr. Hummel was born January 8, 1936, in Castalia, OH to the late Joseph and Lucille Hummel. He was a farmer and spent most of his days outside tending to the needs of his farm. In his later years Ronald enjoyed being in his garden and collector cars. Most of all, he loved his family. Mr. Hummel passed away September 6, 2022, at Lincoln Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

Survivors include his wife Mildred Peters Hummel; children, Belinda (Marcus) Schrimsher, Jeff (Angela) Hummel, James (Lara) Hummel, and Debra (Thomas) Cooper; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Cindy Rentz. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph, Lawrence, and Ida Belle Hummel.

All though you’re gone you will never be forgotten. You will forever live in the hearts of the Hummel family. So sorry to hearing of this kind man passing. Anyone who met him loved him. So sorry we weren’t able to come bc Bro Dwight had surgery. But sis Hummel and family we will be praying for you all.

RONNIE will be missed always. He was so kind to everyone. He was quiet and loved his family . He was truly wat a role model should be. May God reward him for job well done. Rest peacefully. Sympathy for family and love always.
