Robert “Bobby” Arnold, Jr.

It is with regret that we announce the passing of Mr. Robert “Bobby” Arnold, Jr., age 69, of Fayetteville, TN. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Hope Assembly Church with Pastor Raleigh East officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 AM on Saturday until time of service at the church. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Arnold.

Bobby was born on July 17, 1950 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Robert W. and Virginia Elizabeth Stewart Arnold. He worked as a sales associated at Walmart and was a member of Hope Assembly Church. Mr. Arnold passed away on January 28, 2020.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Capshaw Arnold; son, Robert Arnold, III; daughter, Melissa Maddox; grandchildren, John (Sara) Owens of Fayetteville, TN, Bethany (Brent) Butner of Hazel Green, AL, Kaitlyn (James Jay) Arnold of Huntsville, AL, Alexi Maddox of Fayetteville, TN and Coby Maddox of Fayetteville, TN; one great-grandchild; and sisters, Martha (Wayne) Craig of Elora, TN and Carylon (J.B.) Baker of Nashville, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Arnold.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, or the charity of your choice.
