Robert Michael “Bobby” Doney

Funeral service for Robert Michael “Bobby” Doney, age 61, of Fayetteville, TN, will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Jon Hathcock officiating. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 11 AM until 1 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

Bobby was born on January 10, 1960 in Chicago, IL to the late Robert and Doris Brownie Solomon Doney. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Bobby was the owner of Tech Support Computer Services, LLC in Fayetteville, as well as, a member of the Fayetteville Elks Lodge and an avid musician. He was also a member of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church Praise Band. Bobby passed away on January 12, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Counts of Fayetteville; children, Leigh (Jake) Johnson of Woodbury, Leslie (Corey) Neergaard of Fayetteville, and Will (Bailey Hayhurst) Doney of Fayetteville; bonus children, Natalie (C.J.) Pitts of Chattanooga and Shelby Dorn of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Makyleigh, Chris, and Jacob Blount; bonus grandchildren, Taylor and Grayson Dorn and Zara Pitts; sister, Janet (Paul) Veeneman of Tullahoma; bonus brother, Mike Cameron; uncle, Lee (Linda) Solomon; and nieces, Regina (Justin) Meeks and Rhonda (John) Pennington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Multi County Cancer Support Network, Attn.: Cary Sullivan, P.O. Box 470, Fayetteville, TN 37334.

Mr. Bobby will be truly missed. He did my computer work for many many years and was a wonderful person and friend. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. My God bless your family.

I was so sorry to hear about Bobby’s passing..He was a wonderful guy & always took care of my computer needs..His mother, Brownie, & my mother were best friends while living in Illinois..He will be greatly missed..
