Ralph Phil Templeton

 

Funeral service for Mr. Ralph Phil Templeton age 68, of Taft, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday August 17, 2016 at Higgins Funeral Home, with Rev. Dicky Sebastian and Rev. Jason Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Mr. Templeton passed away August 15, 2016 at Lynchburg Nursing Center.

A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Ralph Erskine and Julia Warren Templeton. Mr. Templeton was a retired lifetime member of the Machinists Union Stone Bridge Local Unit 2385, an employee at Goodman Manufacturing for 38 years, a member of the Molino Baptist Church, and served 18 years on the Molino Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years Barbara Templeton of Taft; his son Coby (Tina) Templeton of Fayetteville; grandchildren Emily and Alyssa Templeton; a sister Carolyn (Ray) Moffett; and nephews Mickey (Sharon) Moffett and Paul (Lynnita) Moffett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Templeton.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday August 16, 2016 from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Multi-County Cancer Support Network at P.O. Box 470 Fayetteville, TN 37334.

I am so sorry to hear about Phil, we worked together many years at Amana-Goodman in Quality and I pray for the family in their time of sorrow.

Very sorry to learn of the death of phil.
I Worked with him at Goodman he was always
smiling. Nice person.

Phil was a sweet man. I remember working with him years ago with the Firemans Jam. He had such a good attitude and a wonderful smile. Prayers for the family. He will be missed so much.

I knew Phil all my growing-up years in school. He was a good & caring person always. I had not seen him in years. I know he will be missed by his family and friends. You are in my thoughts at this sad time. Brenda
