Philip Wilson Tucker, age 78 of Fayetteville, formerly of Nashville, TN passed from this life October 13, 2012. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 16 at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilson was born December 22, 1933 in Corders Cross Roads, TN to the parents of Earl Wilson & Pauline Phillips Tucker. He was preceded in death by his father Earl Wilson Tucker in April 1943, mother Pauline Tucker Petty in June 2004, step-father A.B. Petty December 2004 and his only brother Robert Earl Tucker in December 1953.
He was a 23 year veteran of the United States Air Force and later retired from Orkin Pest Control of Nashville.
He grew up in Nashville and at age 17 entered the military, spending 23 years touring the world, came back to Nashville where he spent 39 more years until his illness and was moved to Fayetteville where he passed from this life.
He leaves behind many cousins.
Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Nashville and placed beside his brother, mother and step-father.

Mr. Tucker was our next door neighbor for several years. We are thankful that we ad a chance to meet him!
