Patricia “Trisha” Ann Quick Jacobs

Funeral service for Mrs. Patricia “Trisha” Ann Quick Jacobs, age 61, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted at 6 PM on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Smith and Bro. James Strope officiating. Visitation with the family will be held at 3 PM until time of service on Wednesday at Higgins.

Patricia was born on March 8, 1958 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Thomas and Helen McCollum Quick. She was a Social Worker for Donalson Care Center for 41 years and a dedicated volunteer on the Lincoln County Fair Board. Trisha was a lifelong member of Stateline Church of Christ and enjoyed painting in her spare time. Mrs. Jacobs passed away on November 24, 2019 at Hospice Family Care of Huntsville, AL.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Steve Jacobs; brothers, Harold Quick and Glenn and Belinda Quick; sister, Dean Slayton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug Adkins, James Strope, Wayne and Teresa Jacobs, Glen and Regina Jacobs, Cindy and Steve Rush; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews whom she loved as her own children. Also, her precious two dogs, Luke and Lucy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Quick Strope and Patsy Quick Adkins; sister-in-law, Angeline Swing Quick; and her favorite dog, Jack.

Such a wonderful woman! I met her when I was 15 just starting out at Donalson Care center and continued to have a friendship many years after.Prayers for her family and the many many friends she loved.

Patricia was a Dear Friend I called Her “Lou Lou ” and She Called Me ” Junior ” Reference To Lou Lou Roman & Junior Samples She was a People Person

I loved Patricia. She helped me so many times over the years & most recently the past 3 months. So glad we shared “I love you’s” several times during those 3 months. My heart breaks over the loss of this precious friend and distant cousin. Prayers for all who loved this special caring soul.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Tricia’s passing. She trained me and taught me so much about social work in the nursing home. She had such a good personality and a big, kind heart. My deepest sympathy to her family!

Tricia always got attention with her wonderful attitude. She said dont judge people unless you have walked in their shoes. She loved to cut up with me and I too with her. She was a sweet person and I know she is loving Heaven.

I only had the privilege of working with Trisha for a short amount of time. But she was always so kind and soft spoken. Going to miss her morning waves from the window as I walk into work. Fly high your in God’s arms now..

Steve, Denise and I send our deepest condolences. Trisha always a dear friend who always did what she could to help others. We were Birthday buddies as well, Trisha 8th and mine 7th. She had recently reached out to me wishing me a quick recovery. I have so far and just heard while in hospital. Also, got a message for our grand births. She will definitely be missed by everyone that came in contact with “Trisha”.

The first time I walked into Donalson, I was greeted with this beautiful smile. Every time I went there, Mrs. Patricia was always so nice and comforting. Sorry so to hear of her passing.

I worked with Trisha by phone almost ever week, I loved to hear her voice and her funny saying. She was a sure Joy and I will miss her greatly. Angel on earth and now in Heaven. She touched my heart I will miss you Trisha. Prayer to all the family and her fur babies.

Trish was always so pleasant. Our family was blessed to have her work with us when my husband’s mom and dad moved into Donaldson Nursing Hone. She made that transition much easier than it would have been otherwise. Very sorry for the family’s loss.

Went to school at Flintville with Trish she was a sweetheart. Her and my sister Sharron Quick was big buddies too. She was always so cheerful and had a great outlook on everything. She will be missed so much. My prayers go out to her family.
