Patricia Faye Gleghorn

It is with regret that we announce the passing of Patricia Faye Gleghorn, age 48, of Lincoln County, TN. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Houston Welch and Bro. Ellis Coats officiating. Burial will follow at Old Orchard Cemetery in Petersburg. Visitation with the family will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, December 8 at Higgins.

Patricia was born January 31, 1973, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Phillip and Rebecca Cashion Gleghorn. She started her career at Cosmo Lab, later worked at Wal Mart, and was currently employed by C&S Plastics. Patricia was a lifelong member of Friendship Church of Christ, and she enjoyed painting, baking cakes, and spending time with her family. She passed away December 5, 2021, at her residence.

She is survived by her brothers, Dale Gleghorn and Melvin (Camille) Gleghorn of Petersburg, and Kelvin Gleghorn of Belfast; sister, Anita (Kevin) Tanner of Taft; sister-in-law, Christy Gleghorn of Petersburg; nieces and nephews, Phil (Rebekah) Gleghorn, Anthony (Emily) Gleghorn, Kala (Ben) Mullins, Garrett (Jenny) Gleghorn, Caleb Gleghorn, Ashley Lockhart, John Allen Gleghorn, Alex Tanner, Lily (Jim) Hammons, Cara Tanner, Kelly (Nathan) Fuller; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her church family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Terry Lee Gleghorn.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Friendship Church of Christ or Fabulous Fifties Foundation, P O Box 934, Fayetteville, TN 37334.

She was a wonderful friend I worked with her at walmart in the bakery. She always made my cakes for me an she always made me chocolate pies the best. I’m in shock her an I went out for dinner several times She is gonna be missed . I know she’s walking streets of gold in no pain an meeting all her loved ones in heaven. My prayers are for the family God bless

God will now take care of Patricia. Worked with Patricia at Cosmolab for several years and she was such a sweet friend. Excellent baker and as learned after I retired that she also was a wonderful artist. May she now RIP. Patricia will be truly missed.

Patricia was a sweetheart and so friendly. She reminded me of her mother . One great blessing was she was a Christian and faithful in service to the Lord.
