Patricia Diane Bell

Funeral service for Patricia Diane Bell, age 57, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Colbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkland Cemetery.

Diane was born on May 6, 1961 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. Mrs. Bell never met a stranger, she worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Colbert and at Goody’s apparel in Fayetteville. Rickie, Diane, Carrie and Phillip had a special bond of love for each other and enjoying life together as a family. Diane passed away on November 16, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Survivors include her father, Beverly Eugene (Della Hastings) Posey of Hazel Green, AL; husband of 40 years, Rickie Lee Bell; daughter, Carrie (Phillip) Tomlin of Hazel Green, AL; brothers, Larry (Lisa) Posey of Petersburg, TN, and Curtis (Tina) Posey of Fayetteville; sister, Kay (Tracy) McNeal of the Yukon Community; step-brothers, David Michael (Beth) Bradford, Sr. of Athens, AL, and Robert Gregory (Patricia) Bradford of Huntsville, AL; special aunt, Patsy Elaine Singleton; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Inez Hambrick.

Visitation with the family will be from 5 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Higgins Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lincoln County Tribute Chair, Cary B. Sullivan, P.O. Box 470, Fayetteville, TN 37334. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Patricia Diane Bell.

I am so very sad to hear this. I only met Ms. Diane through the dentist, but I tell you she was a gentle soul and just such a good hearted person. Prayers and comfort for her family.
