David and family,

I have you all in my thoughts. My first memories of Mr. O.D. are from grade school when he and Mr. Barnes would come to repair something. I talked and laughed with them just like they were family and I kept up with Mr. O.D. after school through my friend and co-worker, David. I know you will miss him as will all who knew and loved him but I hope you can allow your good memories of him to carry you to brighter days. He certainly brightened some of my days through the years.

Ronnie, Mike, and David,
I’m sorry for your loss. Uncle O.D. was always fun. I came by one day years ago and bought a wood sled he made and we use it every year to stack christmas presents on under our tree, he also gave my girls, which were little at the time, a little red coke wagon he made to put their dolls in and roll around. We still have these and will always think of him when we look at these. A couple of months before your mother passed Lala and I came by for a visit and I shared this with your mother, she really enjoyed the fact that we still had these things and used them, so I thought you might too. I love you guys,I will be praying for you and feel free to call 615 948 8169 or come by if your ever in Murfreesboro.

Ronnie, Mike, and David,
I can’t believe its been a year already since your dad passed away. I told Brenda that if I EVER had a friend in this life, it was O.D.! I thought the WORLD of him, well actually all of y’all! I have so many good memories of growing up with y’all! I used to love when we came to visit! Ronnie and me would roam the streets of Fayetteville and just have an absolutely great time – Always an adventure!
