Nicki Urban

Nicki Urban, age 65, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on September 11, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born on February 29, 1960, in Huntland, Tennessee, to the late Dossie Elliott and Mary Sue Montgomery Byrd.

Nicki was a partner in Valley Pizza, Inc., owning Domino’s Pizza locations throughout North Alabama and Southern Middle Tennessee. She had a great love for the arts, and her creative spirit shone through her passion for drawing, painting, and crafting. Nicki was a proud supporter of her family, she found special joy in cheering them on in all of life’s moments, both big and small. A truly compassionate person, Nicki was known for her loving heart and her kindness to animals, often rescuing those in need. She was also an active member of the Power of 100 Women Lincoln County and the Fayetteville Lincoln County Arts Center.

Nicki is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Carl Urban; her daughter, Morgan (Jeremy) Lowry; and her cherished grandchildren, Brylee Nunley, Avery Lowry, and Anna Lowry. She is also survived by her siblings, Sheri (Larry) Watson, Vickie (Danny) Woods, Carlton (Kim) Elliott, Dois Miller, James Meeks, and Mary Jo (Walter) Dulaney, along with many beloved nieces and nephews: Patrina, Dana, Chris, Greg, Trista, Bo, Joseph, Michael, Keri, Ethan, Mason, Keri, Kattie, and Taylor and her children, Maclay, Emree, and Brantley. In addition to her parents, Nicki was preceded in death by her siblings, Dianne Elliott, and Dossie Ray Elliott.
