Nell C. Graves

Nell C. Graves, age 73 of Fayetteville TN, passed away Wednesday at Donalson Care Center. Services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Missy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Tullahoma.

Mrs. Graves was a native of Clayburn County, TN and the daughter of the late Elisha and Nancy King Singleton. Mrs. Graves worked at Lincoln County Hospital for 20 years and also Lee Manufacturing.

Survivors include daughter Louise Alaweneh of Fayetteville, son C. D. (Gina) Lackey of Trussville, AL, son Timothy Allen Lackey of Fayetteville, TN, grandchildren Emad (Nicole) Alaweneh, Steven Lackey, Sean Lackey, Thea (Joseph) Watkins and Dillion Lackey, great grandson Easton Blake Alaweneh, great-granddaughter Juniper Watkins, sister Alice Salvage of Fayetteville, Opal (Wayne) Bruce of Manchester, brothers Kenneth Singleton of Fayetteville and Roger Dale (Patsy) Singleton of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husbands Ira D. Lackey and Charles L. Graves, son Michael Anthony Lackey and brothers and sisters, Georgia Mae Irwin, Donald Ray Singleton, Ruthie C. Winsett, Vestie Sumners and Marilynn Scivally.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5-8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

I’m Very sorry to hear of aunt Nells passing. I didn’t get an opportunity to get to know my moms brothers and sisters as I would have liked to. But it still saddens me when a family member passes away. Rest in peace aunt Nell.
