Nancy Lou Jacobs Hudson

Funeral services for Nancy Lou Jacobs Hudson, age 89 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Thursday June 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Dwight Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. Mrs. Hudson passed away Tuesday June 2, 2015 at her residence.
She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Frank Vance and Mary Sue Noah Jacobs. Mrs. Hudson was a certified public weighter for truck scales and a member of the Christian Calvery Church. She enjoyed horse races, reading and the Lincoln County Fair.
Survivors include husband of 47 years Henry Hudson of Fayetteville, daughter Debbie (Jackie) Hovis of Fayetteville, son Terry (Farley) Newton of Fayetteville, grandchildren Jason Newton, Chad (Sheley) Cowley, Krissy (Nolan) Davis, Brad (Lindsey) Cowley, Dreanne Newton and Chris Hovis, great-grandchildren Marcus Hyde, Madison Newton, Collin Newton, Rylan Davis, Paisley Cowley, Hudson Cowley, Morgan Cowley, sisters Judy Manning, Lanell (Bob) Pennington, Ann (John) Dabbs, sister-in-law Thanna Jacobs, Helen Shelton and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers William and Donald Jacobs.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday June 4, 2015 from 12-2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

Nancy is a treasured friend and I will always remember our good times at the Lincoln County Fair…She was a lifelong friend of my dear Mother-in-law Burnadean Gatlin and I am assured they are having a grand reunion.
