Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Jones Bagley Hamilton, age 85, of Fayetteville will be conducted Saturday at 1:00PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Calvin Todd officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hamilton passed away Thursday morning at Lincoln Medical Center.
She was a native of Lincoln County, daughter of the late Earle Hopkins and Mary Jane Huffman Jones. Mrs. Hamilton was a homemaker and a member of the Fayetteville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her daughter Mary Lindsay Hamilton of Nashville, TN, five sons, Joe Bagley and wife Toni of Los Altos, CA , Bob Hamilton, Jr and wife Kathy of Decatur, GA, John Hamilton and wife Debbe of Florence, AL, Mack Hamilton and wife Melanie of Fayetteville, and Tom Hamilton and wife Abby of Memphis, TN, grandchildren Michael Bagley of Salt Lake City, UT, Christopher (Yixiu) Bagley of Santa Clara, CA, Andrew Bagley of San Francisco, CA, Robert Lindsay Hamilton III of Decatur, GA, Sarah Elizabeth Hamilton of Decatur, GA, Samuel Baldridge Hamilton of Huntsville, AL, Anne Louise Hamilton of Memphis, TN, Amelia Claire Hamilton of Fayetteville, TN, Laura Lindsay Hamilton Brown and husband Jonathan of Fayetteville, Thomas Boyce Hamilton, Jr of Memphis, TN, John Andrew Hamilton of Knoxville, TN, Benjamin Polk Hamilton of Knoxville, TN, Julia Nancy Hamilton of Memphis, TN, and two great grandchildren Lucas and Sophia Bagley and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by 1st husband Joseph Higgins Bagley who was killed in action in 1945 and 2nd husband Robert Lindsay Hamilton who passed away in 1999, two sisters Louise Jones Johnston and Evelyn Jones Startup and brother Earle Hopkins Jones, Jr..
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fayetteville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
