Nancy Jane Quillman McCue

Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Jane Quillman McCue, age 80, of Dellrose, TN will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Shiloh Community Center with Bro. Tommy Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday at the Shiloh Community Center.

Nancy was born October 10, 1942, in Louisville, KY to the late Theodore T. and Theresa Gagel Quillman. She was the owner of McCue’s Grocery in Dellrose, and she was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. McCue passed away October 25, 2022, at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loving family.

Survivors include her children, Laura (Lonnie) Mullins of Fayetteville, TN, Tom (Sherry) McCue of Petersburg, TN, Angela McCue of Fayetteville, TN, Steven (Dawn) McCue of Shelbyville, TN, Cliff McCue of Dellrose, TN, and Jennifer (Bobby) Lovelace of Jackson, TN; grandchildren, Clayton (Heather) Mullins, Ben (Kala) Mullins, Amber (Nathan) Massey, Justin Hosmer, Nicholas Hosmer, Cordell McCurry, Jacob McCue, Emily Young, Josh McCue, Mara McCue, Dylan Hoover, Kayla (Jacob) Bagby, and Carson Owens; great-grandchildren, Adalynn Mullins, Libby Kate Massey, Kira Hosmer, Kadence Hosmer, Kane Hosmer, Kameron Hosmer, Jayda Hosmer, Sophia Hosmer, Christian Hosmer, Isabella Hosmer, and Henderson Young. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCue was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Alton Able McCue.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Processing, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

“Remember, you have other peoples children in your car.”, a wonderful Nancy quote that she always used when we were teens going out. She was a incredible mother always with a beautiful smile and loving heart. I never remember her being angry or harsh and she certainly had her hands full. Raising a house full of McCue’s takes a angel with patience beyond measure.

Laura, Tom, Angie, Steven, Cliff, and Jennifer….praying for you all and your families. So many great childhood Brown Austin Rd Neighboorhood memories with the McCues as our next door neighbors.
