It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Carolyn Moyers, age 76, of Petersburg, Tennessee. Carolyn passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on October 17, 1949, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Connie Bowen and Alma Odell Brown Bowen. Carolyn dedicated 38 years of service to Citizens Home Mutual in Fayetteville, where she was a familiar and friendly face to many in the community.

She utterly adored her granddaughter, Parker, who was the light of her life and her greatest source of pride.
Carolyn’s legacy of love continues through her husband, Phillip Moyers; her son, Brent Moyers and his wife, Amanda; her beloved granddaughter, Parker Moyers; her sister, Linda Phipps, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Bowen; and brother-in-law, Charlie Phipps.
