Hello to all,
I would just like to take a moment of your time to tell you how much granny meant to me. She was the best grandmother anyone could ask for. I have never seen a nicer person. She was kind to everyone she met. As a child I grew up just two houses away from my granny. You could probably smell her cooking from my front door even though I can’t recall. I do remember sneaking down to her house from my own causing a panic, at first, by my mom. After a while she got used to it when I was gone and new right where I was,at granny’s. I am not sure what drives a child to want to be with there grandparents more than their own parents, but as for mine, I just loved hanging out with mine. They taught me plenty over the years. Even as a teenager I would drive to my granny’s house to clean for her and visit. My friends would say “hey Keith lets go out tonight” but I would say, no thanks, I am going to my granny’s.lol.They understood deep down, I believe, even though they might act tough on the outside.
Granny and Papa will be missed by the whole family ,which is many. As for me, one day I want to cross over to the other side and see them again. Love them while you got them everyone or it could be awhile before you see them again. Love you grammy.
I know I said grammy,thats how I said it as a kid.lol.
