Funeral services for Michael Wayne Callaway, age 62, of Columbia, will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens. Mr. Callaway was the son of the late Samuel McReynolds and Henrietta Elizabeth Ward Callaway. He loved music and playing the flute.
Survivors include his son Stuart Duane Callaway of Smyrna; sister Shelley (Phillip) Hancock of Columbia; granddaughter Aubrey Bella Callaway; cousins Walter (Gail) Ward, Linda (Walt) Partridge, and Karen (Tim) Duncan; and a uncle George A. Callaway.
Visitation with the family will be 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Higgins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank or a local food bank of your choice.

I remember Mike in school he was a great guy.Always made me laugh. So sorry for your loss.
