Marylan Goodrich “Pete” Patrick

Graveside service for Marylan Goodrich “Pete” Patrick, age 77 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. at Lincoln Cemetery with Br. Richard Rogers officiating. Mr. Patrick passed away Tuesday in Huntsville Hospital.

He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late Arthur and Lizzie Patrick. Mr. Patrick was a former employee of CFW where he worked in Paint & Steam Dept and was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Janie Renfro Patrick of Fayetteville, children Billy Patrick, Teresa Bland and husband Mike, Danny Patrick and wife Tina all of Fayetteville, brother Madison Patrick of Chicago, IL, thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Lizzie Patrick, son Bobby Patrick, sister Lizzie Mae Duke, brothers A. W. Patrick, Melvin Patrick and Thurman Patrick, grandson Daniel Lynn Patrick and great-granddaughter Carly Anna Patrick.There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to graveside service.

Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family of Marylan Goodrich “Pete” Patrick.

Rest in peace Uncle Pete. I have the fondest memories of you as a child. Wish i could have seen you more in my adult life. But i do remember a kind, gentle human being like your brother, my dad Madison. Always smiling when i saw you. RIP
