Mary Jane (Clark) Connelly, age 90 of Fayetteville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 19, 2023. A native of Cornersville, TN, Mrs. Connelly was the daughter of the late J.P. and Lois Wilkes Clark, was a retired bank branch manager and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Connelly was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert Gene Connelly, Sr., two brothers, Norman Clark and Don Clark, sister, Anne Ezell and infant sister, Gwendolyn Faye Clark.
Survivors include her daughters Sandra (Tom) Bedingfield of Hoschton, GA, Donna (Doug-deceased) Clark of Winchester, TN, sons Robert (Bob) Gene (Kathy) Connelly, Jr. of Brentwood, TN, Kevin (Marion) Connelly of Fayetteville, TN, grandchildren Jennifer (Matt) Hunter, of Auburn, GA, Nathan (Lina) Hines of Cumming, GA, Alex (Tara) Curtis of Estill Springs, TN, Justin (Devin) Curtis of Decherd, TN, Jantelle Clark of Winchester, TN, Bryan (Loretta) Clark of Winchester, TN, Bryson (Lauren) Connelly of Pleasant View, TN, Travis (Erin) Vicary of Martin, TN, Amanda (Kyle) Waterston of Eagleville, TN, Caleb and Jacob Connelly of Fayetteville, TN, great-grandchildren Zoey Hunter, Mattie Jane Hunter, Olivia Hines, Henry Hines, Nolan Curtis, Lucy Curtis, Collins Curtis, Anna Kathryn Curtis, Bodhi Connelly, Ezra Vicary, Lane Vicary, Luke Vicary, Emmie Jane Waterston, Wade Waterston, Christian Spencer, Noah Baker, Heaven Cathey, PJ Cathey, Parker Holton, nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Mary Jane Connelly will be conducted Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home. Brother Thomas Graham will be officiating a celebration of life service immediately following the visitation. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery in Cornersville, TN at 2:30 p.m.
