Graveside services for Mary Etta Lackey, age 78 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Tuesday at 11 AM at Barnes cemetery with Bro. Thomas Smith officiating. Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of services. Mrs. Lackey passed away Sunday at Lincoln Medical Center.
She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late John Marion and Dillie Milliken. Mrs. Lackey was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband Billy Ray Lackey of Fayetteville, son Adam Lackey of the Cyruston Community, grandson Daniel Lee Lackey of Kentucky, great-grandchild Cassidy Dawn Lackey of the Cyruston Community, two sisters Ernestine McMillan of Fayetteville and Nannie Lou Crabtree of the Cyruston Community. She was preceded in death by a son Joey Dean Lackey.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to services.

Maryetta was one of the sweetest individuals I have ever known. My sincere sympathy to her family.
