Mary Esther Price Newgent

Funeral services for Mary Esther Price Newgent, age 55, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday at 11 am at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Milton Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Moore Cemetery. Mrs. Newgent passed away Wednesday at Lincoln Medical Center.

Mrs. Newgent was a native of Lincoln County, the daughter of the late Jessie Dale Graves Price. She worked in the South Lincoln School Cafeteria.

Survivors include her husband Tommy Ray Newgent of Fayetteville, son Tommy Lee (Mindy) Newgent of Elora, daughters Magen Newgent, Morgen Newgent both of Fayetteville, grandson Travis Ray Newgent, granddaughter Callie Nicole Newgent, sisters Patricia (Doug) Crews, Martha (late Lannie) Howell, Debbie Brandon, Ruby (Mike) Edde, Regina Stevenson all of Fayetteville, brothers Eddie (Jan) Price, Freddie (Marlene) Price, Chris (Diane) Price all of Fayetteville, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 until 8 pm at Higgins Funeral Home.

To Mary’s entire family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I know most of you and know that Mary loved her family. She was such a fun loving person. I had the pleasure of knowing her and know that she will be missed. God has her in his arms now and she is pain free. Prayers for you all. Blessed be!

I am so sorry about Mary. There’s nothing anyone can say or do to lessen the grief of knowing she is gone from ya’ll , It’s comforting to think Jessie Dale was waiting to greet her…Death is a part of life and we will all face it someday….. My condolences to you every one … Janice Moore May
