It is with regret that we announce the passing of Martha Kathryn “Kathy” Gray Smith, age 76, of Fayetteville, TN. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Shiloh Cemetery with Rev. Houston Welch officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 12 pm until 2 pm on Sunday at Higgins Funeral Home.
Kathy was born September 17, 1945, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Buddy and Elaine Dunman Gray. She was a seamstress at Serbin and Lee Manufacturing, and she later worked at Elk River Health and Rehab. Kathy loved watching baseball, wrestling, football, and NASCAR and she was a big Jeff Gordon fan. She passed away March 17, 2022, at NHC Pulaski.
Survivors include her daughters, Tangie (Jeff) Street and Gina Slatton, both of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Jordan (Madison) Street, Joshua Street, and Thomas Slatton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Eugene Smith.

I worked with Kathy at Serbin. She was a sweet person and I enjoyed working with her. I am very sorry for your loss.

Ms Kathy was so sweet I really enjoyed working with her and becoming friends. She was a great lady. So sorry for your loss. Prayers for the family🙏
