M.E.
We will be thinking of you in the days
ahead. We only got to know Jean
for a short time, but found her to be
a wonderful person, the kind that you
would like to be around all the time.
You both were excellent cooks. We
will always remember the breakfast
you all prepared for us one morning
while we were camping in Dunnellon.

The good ole times we had with you
camping, eating and “strolling” the
campground. Jean always remembered
us at Christmas with her sweet cards
and wonderful notes.
Thinking of you,
Morgan and Hilda Fraley

Sunday night heaven received a new angel. My good friend Jean entered heaven at 6:45 pm. Today Jean is dancing in heaven. Jean, set another place at the table for I will see you again some day. Dear Ed and family, please know that Jean is well now. We are here for you.
We love you Smith family.

We will long remember all the years and events that we shared with Jean and Ed and their families…such joy to be around her…she made you feel welcomed always. Her smile and friendly chats, she made you feel more than welcomed. Her skills at cooking were renown…her quilting was the best I had ever seen and she displayed them for all to see and enjoy especially at Christmas. She was always full of joy at every gathering. What a servant of us, her friends and of course to God. We are so sadden by her leaving us, but know there is no more pain and suffering and God has a resting place for her. God Bless her memory.

Jean taught me many things about quilting that I would not have known, otherwise. You two camped next to us for several years and were the best neighbors we could have asked for. Ed, be comforted in that Jean was a wonderful person and the world will ALL miss her. Take care. Nancy

Eddie,
My prayers are with your family, for peace and comfort over Jean’s passing. As you well know she was dedicated and thorough in all she did. I very much appreciated our years together at AEDC as she helped raise me on how an engineer and manager should perform. We will miss her smile at Christmas dinners for times to come.
Peace and Grace through Christ
Rick

Jean was such a wonderful sweet person. I met her 9 years ago when I first moved to Fayetteville and joined the local quilt guild. She was such fun to be around, was very gifted and made beautiful quilts. She always had a smile on her face. She will be truely missed. My prayers are with the family.

I am so sorry I did not see the notice until after the service. I worked with Jean for many years at AEDC. She was a very wonderful, very caring, very competent person. I would have been proud to acknowledge that by being there.
