Mark was a dear friend of my ex-husband, Joe Faulkner. He was such a comfort to Joe in his darkest hours before his death. He unselfishly made time to carry him to doctor’s visits in Columbia, and nourished their friendship until the end. I appreciate Mark for that. RIP, Mark. I’m sure Joe was happy to see you!

I just learned of Marks passing thanks to Murray’s call. Mark and I were true friends and brothers since 1968. We joined the U.S. Army Reserves and just hit it off from that time forward. Of course having the same birthday made our friendship even better. He and Carol were our running buddies for many years. I’m saddened to learn of his passing but I know in my heart that he is now with his loved ones again. He was such a good friend. Even though our lives took us apart we never missed a birthday call. He will always be in my heart as we always told each other until the next time and I love you! To Janice, Murray, David, Vangie and Mark Jr. I offer my sincere condolences.
