Marilyn Irene Faulkner

Funeral service for Marilyn Irene Faulkner, age 80 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Waggoner officiating. Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery beside her husband Bobby Joe Faulkner. Mrs. Faulkner passed away Friday afternoon in Southern Manor.
A native of Selby, SD, Mrs. Faulkner was the daughter of the late Tom and Anna Byre Holder, retired after 24 years as a Ward Secretary at Huntsville Hospital and a member of the Plainview Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter Deanna (Allen) Phelps of the Chestnut Ridge Community, a son Robby (Trisha) Faulkner of Flintville, grandchildren Corey (Terra) Phelps, Amy (Ryan) Methvin, Alex (Meagan Eley) Phelps, Joseph Faulkner, Elizabeth Faulkner, great-grandchildren Aubrey, Colton and Callie Phelps, and expected in June 2015 Anna Methvin, sisters Vivian Ford of Seattle, WA, Darlene (Al) Fjeldstead of Denver, CO, Joyce Kosters of Selby, SD and brother John Holder of Selby, SD. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Faulkner was preceded in death by an infant son, two brothers Wayne and Franklin Holder.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday 2-4 p.m. and Monday 1-2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the charity of ones choice.

I am so glad I got to see Marilyn this summer when she stayed in Selby. She was such an awesome lady. We will miss her.

I talked with Mrs.Faulkner in the visitation line for Rodney Groce, I think. and really enjoyed talking with her. I found out who she was and about her being from South Dakota. May God wrap you in his arms. Because He Lives, Amy S. Osteen
