Margie Lois Hone Hazelbaker

Funeral service for Ms. Margie Lois Hone Hazelbaker, age 75, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Langford officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Margie was born on July 15, 1942 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Newman Clark and Mildred Annie Sue Hale Hone. She work as Chief Clerk with the State of Tennessee House of Representatives and also worked at Motlow State Community College and retired in 2007. She loved her family and friends and was great at remembering their special dates and sending them cards. Ms. Hazelbaker passed away on May 10, 2018.

Survivors include her son, Benjamin Collins Hazelbaker of Fayetteville, TN; daughter, Laura Denise (Terry) Monks of Fayetteville, TN; sister, Linda Hone Jones of Greenfield, TN; brother, Larry Hone of Fayetteville, TN; grandson, Benjamin Jarrett Hazelbaker; nephew, Josh (Shannon) Hone of Fayetteville, TN; and great nieces and nephews, Brinley Hone, Carson & Carley Cunningham, and Brianna Almy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Humane Society at PO Box 37, Fayetteville, TN 37334.

We are so sorry to hear of your Mother’s death. Unfortunately, we will be out of town to the doctor and have Brett with us at the time of visitation and the service. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

So sorry for your loss! I had a friend at Motlow
when she was there. Talked to her almost
everyday. Ben and Laura be strong the
lord will make a way.
